Being a Marksmen
Participation offers the opportunity to entertain and thrill vast audiences with a unique style of music and showmanship. Coupled with the “old” drum corps sound is an array of musical “smorgasbord” including opera, patriotic medleys, show tunes and jazz.
Important are the deep, lasting friendships formed in the corps, the experience of true camaraderie and the fraternal feeling shared with drum corps people from all over the world.
Lastly, being a Marksmen is the pride and prestige in belonging to one of the finest and most well respected Drum and Bugle Corps.
The Marksmen Alumni is always looking for new members who want to be part of an organization with a welcoming attitude where playing music, performing, and keeping alive the spirit of drum and bugle corps are the priorities.

New members, 16 years of age and up, are always welcome.
Rehearsals are held at the Chicopee
Knights of Columbus Council #69 on Granby Road most Tuesday evenings from 7 to 10 PM.
Again there is no charge for membership or participation!
